#1: Inky paper emerges from the depths

Well well, you did not expect this did you? Of course not, of course not. This used to be ashikiYOKO. To be honest, I was growing tired of my site’s Japanese title and I wanted to reinvent my resource archive too. I have been wanting to do this for a while now, but I could not think of a catchy name. Why did I choose Inky Paper? You can take a peek and see why on the about section. At first (inky);paper was going to be a mere subdomain on ashikiyoko.net. My mom suggested that I just buy another domain, so I ran with that. Now I am one with the .ORG! Ashikiyoko.net is now redirected to inkypaper.org. Change your links! Onto the design, it is dark yet again. This design took me longer to do than usual. I wanted to put in as much detail as I could, and I pulled it off well if I do say so myself. Version 1 features the oh-so-majestic Black Rock Shooter illustrated by Huke I did not come back empty handed. Today I bring you all 180 icons. Hopefully I won’t make so many at one time again. I’ve gone from twenty to seventy, and now I’m in the high one-hundreds! Again, when I sit down and make some nice colorings I’ll just keep making icons until I’m tired. When I suddenly was looking through my affiliates, I stumbled onto your new site! :) It’s so freakin gorgeous!!
My gosh. You’ve seriously taken it up a notch.
The design is fabulous! I love the dark blues with the pitch black :) And I’m loving the new 180 icons! :O I saved the Pokemon ones ;D Cute

Lol. xD I suppose one can say I somewhat cheated? xD I saw it on the subdomain *gets bricked* and I read the about page on it too.
Anyway, I love the design! Darker layouts are always welcome in my book. ♥ Though, I would suggest a bit of margin/padding spacing at the bottom of the navigation in case it’s longer than the content…
Cloud, Noctis and Lightning icons ftw! Lightning is ever so pretty. *__*

Oh my gosh Pogi, this is awesome! This layout is incredible…And I mean all of it, down to every last little CSS detail (even the comments CSS looks amazing). With all you guys giving your sites complete make-overs, I feel like my silly old ‘Anime Rain’ title is all out of fashion, lol. Maybe I can ask for a new domain for a birthday present next month…-plots things-

And the icons are amazing, as usual. Where did you find the Pokemon images? I’ve been wanting to make some for foreverrrrr. I still love (and want) Pikachu :3

Wow, I can honestly say this is one the most amazing layouts I have ever seen. The textures are perfect, and the colors are so beautiful.
So many icons, you are so good at icon coloring! I especially like the final fantasy icons [:

Waaah~ ;~; I can’t say as I’m a huge fan of the layout (Personal preference. I’ve never been a huge fan of dark colors), but the new editions are lovely.

Are those Persona4 icons I see? 0:!!!

Well well, what do we have here? This is quite the dramatic ’surprise!’ now isn’t it?

Master Pogi, the new domain is really unique, and is quite catchy. Easier to pronounce, it took me ages to pronounce ashikiyoko. Then again, I’ve never been good with pronunciation. Heh, [=

I must say I do love the layout, and your sort of grungy anime simplistic style is really really nice. I am waiting patiently for a lighter (not brighter or flasher), but lighter layout. However, I do love this layout. I do believe it is one of my favourites, if not my favourite, layout you’ve created.

I adore the 11 pages of icons! I’m not sure if I’ve asked this, and I also don’t know if you’ve been asked this or not. But why don’t you use icon textures in your icons? Your icons are very simplistic, and you have a simplistic way of designing, I was just wondering why they lack some textury/brushy goodness. Not that they need them, just wondering!

Anywho. In case you were wondering, anxiety is lockdown for now. Yeah, I’m trying to make some stuff. Also. You can expect some new surprises with the site. Oh! And I’ve yet to show my layout to Harper, so it’s going to be a surprise for her as well.

I’ll keep in touch…more? Hah, anyway nice layout and domain yet again.

185 REASONS WHY I WANT TO CRAWL IN A HOLE:

1. Your layout is absolutely, 100% beautiful. The textures in the header, as usual, look so lovely. I love the whole grungy look you always go for. Oh how I envy you.

2. YOUR CCS IS FREAKING PWNSOME! I love how you’re able to use Courier New like that. I’m so jealous. You chose fantastic colors and amazingly played out fonts. I love love love the headers. How in the world did you do that? :D The green and blue: FREAKING AWESOME. Putting those two colors on the black definitely tops it off. It’s lovely.

3-183. 180 icons… stop that. lol ;P Stunning as freaking usual. -jealous- You always always always color so nicely. I love the Final Fantasy ones, and basically all of them.

184. I’m almost ashamed to come back with my new layout after seeing this. Ha. Oh it’s just so beautiful.

185. I enjoy the domain name as well. I like how you included a semi-colon. :D

Keep up the good work. I’m just totally in love with this right now.

OMG, the layout header and Css is awesome. I just love it. Did i say I love the header? 180 icons? Put how much i update to shame, and I love them all, Its good to reinvent yourself some times, I do love the name of the domain.

Your site is really amazing! Your layout is really great. I like the font on it but it is hard for me to read xD The new name is also very unique
