You've crash landed on inkypaper

Welcome! It appears as if you have stumbled upon (inky);paper. Previously ashikiYOKO, Inky Paper is my resource archive that displays my icons and other creations in Adobe Photoshop. This site has been online since August 15th, 2009. Inky Paper's calm, crazy, and creative webmistress is Aquila, also known as Master Pogi. You are currently viewing Phase 5: Rule Sick!; the art used can be found here. Inky Paper has been tested in Internet Explorer 6 and 7, Firefox, Opera, and Safari. I recommend using Firefox under a 1024x768 screen resolution or higher, but 800x600 is compatible. Read the Terms of Use if you decide to use anything from this site. Enjoy your stay, and by the way, please drop a line on the latest update before you depart.

#2: Hault! You’re under arrest!

It is I, Pogi, with yet another update for you all! As you can see, (inky);paper has a pretty ‘n pink new design online. I immediately gained some inspiration for this layout from a game CG of Hisui from Melty Blood: Actress Again. My copy came in the mail and I’ve been hooked on this 2D fighter ever since. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed making this design. In the beginning (like most of my designs), the color scheme for this layout went through development hell. At first I was going to use Asuka from Evangelion, but I will probably save that idea for later. After going on an image hunt I discovered this perfect CG of Hisui. That sealed the deal and I went with a pink, white, black, and gray color scheme. Tell me what you think in the comments. I also made two ghetto slices to prevent the image-heaviness. Ahem, as for the additions, I bring you all 170 icons. This batch is not as big as the last one, right? Also, Jenny has a new design up, be sure to take a look. Enjoy the new look and I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend.

#1: Inky paper emerges from the depths

Well well, you did not expect this did you? Of course not, of course not. This used to be ashikiYOKO. To be honest, I was growing tired of my site’s Japanese title and I wanted to reinvent my resource archive too. I have been wanting to do this for a while now, but I could not think of a catchy name. Why did I choose Inky Paper? You can take a peek and see why on the about section. At first (inky);paper was going to be a mere subdomain on ashikiyoko.net. My mom suggested that I just buy another domain, so I ran with that. Now I am one with the .ORG! Ashikiyoko.net is now redirected to inkypaper.org. Change your links! Onto the design, it is dark yet again. This design took me longer to do than usual. I wanted to put in as much detail as I could, and I pulled it off well if I do say so myself. Version 1 features the oh-so-majestic Black Rock Shooter illustrated by Huke I did not come back empty handed. Today I bring you all 180 icons. Hopefully I won’t make so many at one time again. I’ve gone from twenty to seventy, and now I’m in the high one-hundreds! Again, when I sit down and make some nice colorings I’ll just keep making icons until I’m tired. Ruolin is back from the dead and she also has a new site. Please visit Shi.R Designs. Her portfolio is beautiful and I would love for you all to take a look. Thank you all. This is Pogi, signing off.
